51st Annual Oldsmar Days hits Old Tampa Bay | Entertainment

Oldsmar, Florida -- The 51st Annual Oldsmar Days, one of the Bay area’s longest running events, hits the shores of the Old Tampa Bay on Friday, March 24 and continues through Sunday, March 25. 

The event celebrates Oldsmar’s founding by Ransom Eli Olds, developer of the Oldsmobile and REO line of cars and trucks, and is billed as “Classic Cars, Classic Rock, Classic Florida".

There will be an all Oldsmobile car show on the west lawn of R.E.Olds Park,107 Shore Drive W, Oldsmar, on Saturday and a classic muscle car show at the same location on Sunday. 

The ‘classic rock’ features some of the Bay area’s top-ranked bands including Greg Billings, Stormbringer, the Black Honkeys, the Dive Bar Stalkers and more.  Plenty of food and arts and crafts vendors, a large carnival and lots of interactive audience participation games directly on Tampa Bay is about as ‘classic Florida’ as it gets. 

Don’t be surprised if you see a couple local mayors engaging in an old-fashioned pie eating contest.  And, be sure to catch the classic “Wing Wars’ contest on Sunday where you get to pick the regions hottest and tastiest wings.
